My FIT blog post

In July, I wrote a blog post for the Fashion Institute of Technology summer precollege program, and it’s finally up! I talk about some of my experiences at the college of FIT itself, but let me share some things that I did in preparation to attending the four day camp!

There was a lot of preparation that my best friend and I would go through in order to make that four day program the best it could possibly be. We first had to find the most trendiest outfit to wear, of course, because we needed to look our best in front of all the other stylist teenagers as well as the camera for Instagram pictures. Thankfully over time, our taste of fashion grew. We also made it a tradition to stay late one night and do some shopping and go out to nice places to eat. We went to many places, including in Soho, where we were sitting alone and the people next to us convinced us that they were famous in the fashion industry. There was another restaurant, called the heath at the McKittrick hotel. We also spent over night at the Empire Hotel, which was the best time ever.

FIT helped me learn how to navigate my way through the city, which has become very useful for when I go into the city with friends. I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to spend all those summers there with my best friend. Visit the post I wrote for the Fashion Institute of Technology to learn more about which classes I took and how I got into going to the camps!
