SOOO college!!: my graduation and summer plans

First off, congrats and happy summer to those who just graduated! As of Tuesday, I am officially a college student going to Marist college in Poughkeepsie, New York to study fashion merchandising. I am so excited to go there in less than two months and meet all new people. This blog post is all about my graduation and my summer plans, so if your tanning by a pool or hanging out in the sun, enjoy reading this while your relaxing!

The fact that high school is over is so surreal. As of right now, a few days after graduation, it just feels like a long weekend! My graduation day went by so fast. We started off the day with a final practice in the morning, where we rehearsed walking. We left a half hour later, and I went home. It was such a busy day from there! I ended up going to the gym for an hour and a half to get a good workout in. Afterwards, I went right from the gym to the pool to get a quick tan in (so I would look even more tan in my white graduation dress). I tanned for two hours and before I knew it, it was 2:15 and I had to go home to get ready! When I got home, I took a shower, did my make up and straightened my hair. At 4 pm, I went to my high school to take some pictures before graduation with my friends. Here are some pictures from my high school!

Graduation started at around 7 and it went by so fast. When I got my diploma, it was an amazing feeling of accomplishment! I was also surprised to learn that I had won a scholarship because my dad's part of the town fire department. After the graduation, I took some more pictures with family and friends before heading to our "project graduation". Project Graduation is a cruise around New York City that we took as our last time being together as a grade. It was so amazing to be with my grade as a whole one last time!

This summer, I have some super exciting things planned! I'm going to be tanning at the pool basically everyday, and following my tanning routine and techniques. I am also going to be working out daily to stay in shape. I'm definitely going to be going to New York City a lot as well, sometimes just for shopping and other times I'm going to plan things like walking the Brooklyn Bridge and picnicking at Central Park. I also start my new job working at Anthropologie on June 27th! I'm so so so excited to work there and to get the discount on, not only Anthropologie's clothes and home decor, but also Urban Outfitters and Free People. As of this week, I am enjoying relaxing, scoping out the outfits and home decor that I'm going to get once I start working. One of the projects that I've been working on is trying to find a theme for my dorm room. I decided I wanted my theme to be New York City Fashion with the colors of grey and pink or purple (I'm not sure yet). I've been finding such cute decorations and bed stuff on Etsy and Anthropologie. Can't wait to show you guys what I find!
